°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê is proudly celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, highlighting its dedication to the Hispanic community and the significant contributions of its Hispanic, Latino/a, and Latinx students, faculty, and staff.
As the largest private federally designated Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) in New York, Mercy Hispanic students are woven into the fabric of the University’s culture. In the Fall of 2023, approximately 48% of Mercy’s incoming class identified as Hispanic or Latino and 52.6% of undergraduate students identified as Hispanic. Mercy takes seriously the responsibility of supporting Hispanic, Latino/a and Latinx students, and is proud to ensure opportunities and resources for all students to fulfill their dreams of a college education.
