°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 through October 15. Our celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month reflects our unwavering commitment to the Hispanic community and the incredible contributions of our Hispanic and Latino/a and Latinx students, faculty and staff. We honor the diverse cultures, rich traditions and remarkable achievements that shape our campus, our community and our world.

As the largest private federally designated Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) in New York, Mercy Hispanic students are woven into the fabric of the University’s culture. In the Fall of 2023, approximately 48% of Mercy’s incoming class identified as Hispanic or Latino and 52.6% of undergraduate students identified as Hispanic. Mercy takes seriously the responsibility of supporting Hispanic, Latino/a and Latinx students, and is proud to ensure opportunities and resources for all students to fulfill their dreams of a college education.
